Keir Starmer hasn’t got any guns to turn on Reform – he’s wimpy and limp-wristed

Keir Starmer

“Panic stations as Starmer turns his guns on Reform.” It’s a headline that made me laugh out loud. What guns? Starmer hasn’t got any guns to turn on anyone. He’s a wimpy, limp-wristed leader who in just 11 months has turned Labour into an elitist party that has lost the support of its core voters thanks to his lies and incompetence. And the result is that Reform is now the party of the working classes. If Starmer thinks going to Reform’s heartlands in the North West this week to slate Farage and to launch a repeat of the 2016 Brexit’s Project Fear was a smart move he really needs to give his head a wobble.

Has he learned nothing from the referendum? Doesn’t he understand that when people are patronised, lied to, ignored and abandoned they look to the party that “gets them” and sees the issues they face. And that’s now Reform which has its tanks parked on Labour’s former territory. He’s clearly forgotten how the working classes reacted to Project fear in 2016 – they stuck two fingers up at it and then unleashed a tsunami of populist power and energy which made Brexit happen.

That idiotic speech this week made clear just how terrified Starmer is of Farage and his terror will have swelled Reform’s ranks even more.

And Yes, Starmer will now do what he does well – he’ll launch a dirty tricks campaign to try and destroy Farage. But it won’t work.

Because that tsunami of working class energy is still there and it’s already engulfing Labour and its hopeless leader.

When is Starmer going to sack his traitorous Attorney General Lord Hermer who this week compared people who support leaving the ECHR to Nazis?

How dare this lackey of Labour’s elite invoke Nazism and heap accusations of it onto ordinary people just because they want out of the ECHR because they can no longer stomach Leftie lawyers like him using its laws to allow illegal migrants and vile criminals to scam British taxpayers.

Day after day we have to watch liars and illegals aided by their tricksy lawyers manipulating international law to allow people who shouldn’t be here – to stay.

Hermer has now been forced to apologise for his disgusting comments but the fact remains we’re all being insulted and taken for mugs by people like him. But Starmer won’t sack him presumably because he feels the same as Hermer – they both hate Britain.

Trinny Woodall

Do you feel sorry for Trinny Woodall? (Image: Getty)

Millionaire beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall says she’s having a hard time trying to bulk up having lost weight after an illness.

Are we really supposed to feel sorry for a super-rich, beautiful woman who’s having to force herself to eat more to put on weight when the rest of us are doing the opposite?

So Reeves’ and Starmer’s inheritance tax on farmers has claimed its first scalp. An inquest has ruled that farmer John Charlesworth hanged himself the day before Reeves’ autumn budget when it became clear a tax on farms was coming and he wanted to ensure HIS farm was passed onto future generations before it was taken away by Reeves.

Will this tragedy even register with her or Starmer?

Meghan Markle

Meghan says she’s having a rethink… (Image: Getty)

I’m forever banging on about how everything Meghan touches turns to you-know-what. Well this week two (more) massive blows to her credibility. First, her infamous jam, which she insisted sold out in record time, might not be made any more because Meghan says she’s “stepping back to reassess” her As Ever brand.

Translated – nothing is selling.

Then she posts a picture of a basket full of veg claiming it was a haul from her Montecito garden. Trouble is many of the veg weren’t even in season and were pristine clean – like they’d been bought from a market.

Meghan needs to be careful about what she puts on social media… the truth will always out!

The fatuous attempts by Macron and his weird looking wife Brigitte to look like they’re madly in love just days after she smacked him in the face (with both hands) are actually insulting.

We’re not stupid – we all saw what happened. And we also saw Macron’s horrified expression when he realised the world had seen it too.

Whatever nonsense the Macron’s PR machine is banging out – no-one’s buying it.

‘Race to the bottom!’ Kemi Badenoch in fiery attack on Keir Starmer and Nigel Farage

Kemi Badenoch lashed out at Sir Keir Starmer and Nigel Farage for being in a “race to the bottom” over welfare. The Tory leader launched her fiery attack on the Prime Minister and the Reform UK leader over scrapping the two-child benefit cap.

Writing in the Daily Mail, she said: “This week we have seen Labour and Reform in a race to the bottom to scrap the two-child benefit cap. Apparently, Starmer and Farage now believe in getting taxpayers – many of whom are struggling to raise their own children or choosing not to have them in the first place – to fund unlimited child support for others.

“That’s not fair, it’s not sustainable and it’s not even compassionate. Welfare traps people, builds dependency and it drives up costs for everyone.

“While Labour and Reform are content to make promises they can’t keep, I won’t. The Conservatives are going to be the party of sound money and fiscal responsibility once again.”

Mrs Badenoch insisted the Tories believe in “personal responsibility” and welfare as a “safety net” rather than a “way of life”.

Her intervention comes after Mr Farage earlier this week pledged to axe the two-child benefit cap if his insurgent party takes power.

The Prime Minister has also sparked speculation he is set to ditch the cap after dodging questions on the issue yesterday.

Mrs Badenoch said both leaders’ comments on the cap showed they were “content to make promises they can’t keep”, arguing the Conservatives were “going to be the party of sound money and fiscal responsibility again”.

The cap, introduced by the Conservatives in 2017, prevents Universal Credit claimants from receiving additional benefits for a third or subsequent child born after April 5 2017.
